Conservatives feel: that this is not a good thing. They feel that their tax money is not going to good use because 20% of farmers recieve 80% of all of the subsidy money.
Liberals feel: that this is a good thing because the liberals tend to want big government. When the faarmers harvest the land hard, it kills the land. So, the government pays the farmers extra to make up for the money they lose by not growing as many crops to save the ground.
